Image For The Day is a collection of images I make and use as prayer points, visual resting places to help keep me focused on enduring truth when I am distracted by circumstances or anxiety. They are expressions of steadying my soul and lifting my eyes. I always make them to share. Many blessings to you, friend!
Much to my delight this gallery reflects not only my visual accounting of our gathering, but images shared by my daughters Regina Mountjoy and Pahtyana Moore, both first time attendees this year and gifted photographers. May this stir happy memories for you if you attended, and plant seeds for you to join us in 2020!
Welcome to my gallery for Oxbridge 2014. This is a set of some of my favourite images from this remarkable gathering. This is such an extraordinary experience, so replete with beauty and wonder, it is truly difficult to select a reasonable size set for presentation. I keep seeing more images I want to include!
These are images from the fantastic C.S. Lewis Foundation Conference Oxbridge 2011! These images are only a small reflection of the wonder that is Oxbridge and represent a tiny handful of the images I shot there.
The Kilns is the former home of C.S. Lewis and is now a Christian study centre owned and maintained by the C.S. Lewis Foundation. It is a place of welcome for countless scholars and a point of pilgrimage for lovers of C.S. Lewis’s work. It is one of my favourite places on earth and every time I am there, I am deeply at home. This day-long conference was hosted by the Anselm Society and was our first joint effort with the Rabbit Room, the C.S. Lewis Foundation and The Cultivating Project. Andrew Peterson was our keynote speaker and troubadour. The Anselm Society takes first class honours in throwing the best done events in the business and this one was proof of the pudding!
